Hertz vehicles cannot be driven/dropped off outside of EU countries and European continent. Hertz vehicles can be driven/dropped off in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Should you bring the vehicle out of the Czech Republic, a Cross Border fee of CZK 700.00 (including tax) will apply except for customers on business contract rates (CR). Please note a penalty charge of CZK 15,360.00 (including tax) may apply, should you omit to declare you will be driving the vehicle out of the Czech Republic. 

Hertz vehicles cannot be driven/or dropped off in Portugal, Romania, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania and the UK.

Hertz vehicles cannot be taken to and/or dropped off on any islands. 

The following vehicles groups cannot be driven to/or dropped off in Croatia, Italy and Poland:

Should these restrictions be ignored, all insurances (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, PAI, Windscreen Cover, Super Cover), if accepted, shall be deemed null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of damage to, or loss of the vehicle and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
